One of Mad Man Races most important objectives is to give to those in need. Trails for Charity was created so that everyone will have the chance to give to a worthy cause if they want to do so.
There are two ways to donate:
First you can register for one of Mad Man Races events. A register button is provided at the bottom of this page for the event associated with the charity highlighted in this tab. A portion of each registration fee will go towards the person or family highlighted in the Trails for Charity tab. Each race participant will have the peace of mined that what they are doing is going to a good cause.
Second you can donate directly though the process described below.
Here is how it works: Go and scan the QR code for the Mad Man Races Venmo account located at the bottom of this page. Once you are in the Venmo account enter the total amount that you wish to donate. 100% of all donations, through the Venmo account, will go to the person of family highlighted in this tab. In the comment section state how many trail miles you are donating, this is the amount that you are donating for the charity, then press pay.
Mad Man Races would like to thank all those who donate. You can rest assured that your donations will help those who need it the most.
Run for Tyrel
Tyrel Snow was born and raised in Jensen, Utah, and his love for his home runs deep. He grew up on the back of a horse and tractor, learning the traditions and methods of farming and ranching from his grandfather and father. He’s proudly carried on their legacy as the fourth generation owner operator of Stuntz Valley Ranch, holding true to the vision of those that came before him.
He’s an unassuming man, quiet and insightful, hardworking and selfless. If you ask anyone who knows him, they’d tell you how much he loves his family, his faith, and standing up for what’s right. Many have been on the receiving end of his generosity and kindness — if someone is in need or trouble, he’s the first one to step up to help in anyway he can. He and his wife Jennifer are strong supporters of helping the underdog or those in need. Every year they graciously provide parking for the annual Jensen Pumpkin Festival, charging a minimal fee for parking with those funds donated back to families in need or veteran organizations in the Uintah Basin. Over the last ten years they’ve donated to several families with critical illnesses and charitable causes like the Daniel Gurr Foundation. They’ve organized charitable dinners and events for others who’ve suffered devastating accidents like house fires or burn accidents. Tyrel is well known for his genuine selflessness, kindness, and generous spirit.
On January 26th, Tyrel was rushed to Provo and doctors diagnosed him with two rare types of cancer — PCL and MM. He immediately started chemotherapy, and doctors are continuing to research the best treatments for him. His wife Jennifer has not left his side.
Together they have five beautiful children and two grandchildren with another one arriving in March. While Tyrel has a long, difficult road ahead of him, he is surrounded by family, friends, and a community who recognize it is now time to return the kindness generosity he has freely given over the years. Your donation today helps his family continue their support during this difficult journey and celebrate the incredible man Tyrel is.
